"Best 100 Communities for Music Education in America"

Hortonville and Fort Atkinson Districts Make the List!

Parents, teachers, school administrators and students from communities across the country consider music education vitally important for a quality education -- this was the resounding message from applicants that applied to be recognized as part of this year's "Best 100 Communities for Music Education in America" seventh annual survey.

In that top 100 list is Hortonville and Fort Atkinson school districts! They are being honored for commitment to quality music education and were selected based on a variety of criteria, ranging from economic to curricular and programmatic -- all factors in helping them stand out amidst pressures facing music and arts education throughout the United States.
